| Men and women of the church have the privilege of caring for sacred things, experiencing the serenity and personal satisfaction brought by this joyful act of faith. Members of the Altar Guild prepare our worship space for all services such as Holy Eucharist and baptisms. They arrange flowers, clean the altar linens and serving pieces, shine the silver and brass, and care for the candles, snuffers, torches and processional crosses. This work is shared by many individuals, each of whom typically serves one week a month (usually several hours on Saturday and an hour on Sunday) plus several extra hours during the Christmas and Easter seasons.
