Growth Update
Building Fund (January, 2011)
YES! It is complete! The long awaited fire escape
is now being used!! Upon completion, we
were able to obtain the certificate of occupancy for the upstairs wing.
Hopefully soon, the heating and air will follow!
Building Fund (August 5, 2010)
YES! It is the long awaited fire escape that
you see taking shape on the back of the building!!! Upon completion,
we can get the certificate of occupancy for the upstairs wing. The
heating and air will follow closely. There will be a Phase II and
so on. Therefore, contributions to the general building fund will
be cheerfully received. Thanks to all who have made this a
reality.
July 31, A.D. 2010
- We are at $12,500.00 toward our Building Fund goal
of $20,000.00. Your assistance in attaining this goal is still very
much needed. This fund will enable us to install the rear fire escape
to be in safety compliance for using the wonderful upstairs meeting rooms
and offices, a very real asset to our building. Once the Certificate
of Occupancy is obtained, we can then move forward with HVAC.
April 8, A.D. 2009
- Since the purchase of the former Farragut First Baptist
Church in August of 2008 we have been busy with a program to update our
wonderful new worship facility. Among other things we have remodeled our
nave which includes new carpet, paint, building a chancel area in the Anglican
tradition, and installing a new altar and altar rail.
We are also busy on updating the exterior
of the building which includes a new front entrance, siding and a fresh
coat of paint. In a few short week we will have a new ramp to ease access
for those in who can't navigate steps.
God has truly blessed us with a beautiful
facility where we can worship and praise Him. Come by for visit and see
how the power of faith can change people.
August 30, A.D. 2008
- Holy Cross Anglican Church completed
the purchase of the former Farragut First Baptist Church property at 515
Herron Road in the heart of Farragut, Tennessee. Our parishioners and staff
are working hard to get our need facility ready for our first worship service.
